Halcyon Floats, Philadelphia's Favorite Float Center, is excited and proud to introduce the benefits of floating to the community. On the cusp of Fishtown and Old Kensington, Halcyon Floats' welcoming and calming vibe will soothe you into relaxation from the moment you step foot in the door.

Float effortlessly in blissful peace, cradled by silky epsom salt waters, free from all the distractions of everyday life and the oppressive force of gravity, in a sea of endless possibilities born of your own amazing mind. 

Our spacious shop features three floatation tanks (two extra large cabins and one traditional style float tank), each with it's own private float room with private shower. We provide everything you need:  Giant soft towels, comfy robes & slippers, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There's a blow dryer and contact solution/cases if you need them.  

After floating, guests are invited to relax in the lounge, take in the local art on the walls, while enjoying a tea and snack, in the light of their post float glow.

Our location also features additional services that are perfect compliments to your float therapy session including Halo Salt Therapy, Infrared Sauna and Sound Healing Rest Station.

 

Halcyon Floats, while years in the making, was established in early 2014, opening on March 7th at it's original location on Girard Avenue. Keri, the owner, was introduced to Floatation Therapy while visiting a friend in Portland, OR in 2011. Commence obsessive mission to bring this amazing relaxation technique to the great people of Philadelphia, culminating in the place our city's floaters now call home, Halcyon Floats.
