What's up with our Roxborough Float Spa?
Hey all!
Our grand-reopening of our Roxborough Float Spa, exact date TBD, is just around the corner, and we can't wait for you to see what we've done with the space! We've been getting a ton of inquiries about what changes have been made, so I thought I'd write a little note to update our Float Fam about our new and improved shop.
As some of you may or may not know, we had some serious sound issues happening with our new, musical neighbors next door. Between that issue, and our dier need for new floors, we decided to just go nuts, and really revamp the place.
Here's what you have to look forward to at Roxborough:
1.) Our pods have been turned into rooms! You can stand fully upright, both entering and exiting the room. They are still super large, and both tanks can still accommodate two adults comfortably, they are just easier to enter and exit, and much more comfortable for clients who struggle with claustrophobia.
2.) We added a TON of soundproofing! Our walls are 12 inches thick, made with all kinds of magic materials to keep out vibrations and sound.
3.) The tanks will now have light and music that you, the client, control!!! We got such great feedback about offering these upgrades at our Girard location, it was a no brainer to add them to this space. As much as we love the peace and calm of a quiet, darkness of the float tank, we understand that there are plenty of clients out there who prefer to ease into sensory deprivation slowly, starting off with delicate lighting and gentle music. We want everyone to have just what they need for their ideal float!
4.) The showers are much larger now! You can also step right from the shower into the float tank, making it much easier to move about the room.
5.) We increased ventilation inside the room and inside the tank! We know if could sometimes get a little too warm due to all the moisture in the room, so be took care of that and created a much more pleasant space to get ready pre- and post-float.
6.) We made the reception area larger, and the post-float space more private! We wanted to eliminate any hustle and bustle, either before or after float session, so we made a few tweaks with the space, and it's got the perfect flow from beginning to end.
These are just some of the changes you will see at the Roxborough space! We will leave the rest as a surprise when you come in for your float!
